About Kartoonista and Kiko Hernandez
Kartoonista Illustrations is created by artist and cartoonist Jose "Kiko" Hernandez out of profound love for things
graphic and humorous. Kiko started drawing and sketching life at a very early age in his native Honduras. His skills as a vivid sketch artist got him school awards and recognition among his classmates and teachers.
After being enrolled in "Bellas Artes" National School, where he first discovered the world of shapes, colors and
composition, he then moved to New York to better pursue his passion for the Fine Arts and enrolling in prestigious art schools such as Pratt and The National Academy Museum and School.
With a background in computer and traditional animation, Kiko manages to translate movement to different
mediums and has done commissioned work for various art collectors and restaurants in New York City.
Kiko currently works as a graphic designer and freelances cartoons from his art studio in New York.
